Business Process Analyst
A highly-regarded University in London are looking for a Business Process Analyst to join them on a 1 year fixed-term contract to help them on a project that will modernise processes that are not currently online.
The post holder will be responsible for capturing and providing rapid-action improvements to a wide range of processes (requests, applications, workflows and approvals) to enable an online service.
In total the University will be looking to automate up to 100 difference system processes to enable them to bring activity online, after which they will be able to look at more enterprise-level activity e.g. consolidating CRMs.
Day to day duties:
- Provide detailed analysis on the "as is" current workings and aspirational "to be" workings of the university, and capture business needs and requirements of ICT services, through examining documentation, conducting interviews and facilitating workshops
- Document analysis through standardised diagrams and reports in such a way that the information is clear, concise and accessible to the key stakeholders
- Ensure that any impacts or risks of such changes are well understood, documented and communicated to stakeholders and to ensure that the level to which stakeholders have been consulted is clear and appropriate to the complexity of the task
- Keep abreast of industry developments, focussing on business analysis and its practice in HE, through professional bodies, fellow HEIs, conferences and by reading appropriate published material
