Description

As a Finance Accounting Manager you will be reporting into the Assistant Director of Finance and acting as his number two and you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the College's financial transactions team, as well as supporting (and leading on specific parts of) the annual financial statements preparation, audit, and publication process. You will have specific responsibility for endowment and charitable funds accounting and working with the Financial Planning team, ensuring our fixed asset register and capital accounts are kept up to date.

You will also be managing a small team of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury and banking functions, you will ensure that these are delivered efficiently and effectively, and that entries to the finance ledger are accurate, timely, and complete. You will work with Finance Systems and other colleagues to improve and develop our processes and systems.

This is an opportunity to deliver real process improvements within a well-established team as well as working with colleagues across Finance, academic departments, and professional services.

Profile

You will be fully qualified and have great interpersonal skills and ideally have previous experience of managing a small team.
