Job Role

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Developer`s principal responsibilities are for the technical design, development, testing and maintenance of software products using appropriate technologies and interface development environments. Such designs and developments will be produced according to in4systems` methodologies. In addition, Developers will review, support and maintain existing software products to meet changing customer requirements.

Provide timely and accurate information to the team and management when requested or appropriate.

Proactively inform the Development Manager of issues or deviations to planned assignments

Perform technical analysis, design, programming and testing assignments to in4systems standards.

Contribute to team meetings, including Scrum meetings.

Perform support and maintenance tasks, including 3rd line support.

Keep up to date with technologies and methodologies used in software development.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and products to improve efficiency and quality.

Be commercially aware when designing and developing solutions.

Provide second and third line support for software products to customers.

Liaise with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.

Skills, Experience And Knowledge

Essential

Bachelor`s Degree in a computer discipline

Web application & Design

Ruby on Rails

HTML 5 & CSS 3

Javascript

Desirable

Design patterns including MVC

Agile Methologies (Scrum, DSDM)

.Net & C#

Microsoft Reporting Services

Sybase Database

Automated software testing (NUnit, Junit etc)

Systems Analysis and design, including interfaces
