Job Title: Senior Process Analyst
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £32,500 dependent on experience + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5% + contributory pension

We’re now looking for a Senior Process Analyst to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing line management for a small team of process analysts
• Documenting the entire value chain for the organisation, ensuring all key accountabilities and process ownership is fully documented and agreed
• Fostering relationships with key business stakeholders to prioritise SME availability to support the documenting of processes and controls to aid departmental objectives and ensure documents are kept up to date
• Collecting, understanding, and translating the business processes and documenting them as required.
• Reviewing and documenting end to end processes, working with multiple owners across the process, ensuring all hand-offs have demonstrable controls and ownership
• Enhancing and championing the use of process governance across the group and the need for documentation and controls
• Critiquing process and escalating issues as appropriate
• Highlighting and recommending instances where key controls can be improved
• Actively seeking feedback on and seeking to improve the Process Governance framework in liaison with compliance
• Administration of key approval mechanisms such as Business Design Authority and Business Change Approval Board (BDA & CAB)

You’ll need to evidence the following experience, qualifications and skills:

Essential Experience

• Line Management Experience
• Experience managing and chairing forums / approval mechanisms
• Strong stakeholder management including negotiation and influencing
• Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes
• Proven experience interacting directly with end users
• Results orientated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to be involved in continuously improving governance processes

Skills

• Ability to understand business terminology and translate into process terms
• Ability to plan and schedule multiple workstreams to achieve planned delivery dates
• Understanding of different control types and ability to identify control within business processes. Ability to identify where controls do not exist but are required.
• Ability to plan and facilitate workshops and meetings to deliver an agreed outcome
• Strong communication skills including the ability to break down barriers between stakeholders and developers
• Confident and able to challenge appropriately
• Strong Process analysis and documentation using recognised standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Inquisitive – desire and ability to explore processes in depth
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible
