How long do you think it takes a prospective candidate to make up their mind about a job advert? Minutes if not seconds? If you think seconds then you'd be right. Most job adverts at the moment seem to be caught in a never ending battle, a battle over which is the biggest, which is the flashiest, and which "offers a great opportunity". All this is fair, until the point that they never actually tell you anything about the role or what the company actually want.

So let's try something different. Informative and relevant.

The future of web development is Full Stack. That is something my client has foreseen and wants to capture. They embrace the ever growing needs and demand of web development and are looking for a developer who has experience with full stack software development.

They don't obsess about skillsets and keywords; who you are and how you think are more important, but if you want an idea of what the role entails, then in a nutshell it'll mostly be maintaining and building websites. That means almost exclusively .Net (mostly MVC), although crossover knowledge of frontend (in particular JavaScript development including AngularJS) would be very helpful.

You will be participating in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) using Agile methods as appropriate and will be expected to serve in a lead capacity on high priority enhancements and devoting additional time to analyse system performance.

What's in it for you?

*£40,000 - (based on experience)
*Generous holidays
*Fantastic working environment.

Experience using the below is essential:

*Asp.Net 3+ years
*C#.Net 3+years
*SQL Server 3+years
*Javascript 3+years
*JQuery 3+ years

Additional experience that will more than help you in the role is:

*Object Oriented Programming concepts
*At least 3 years of software web development experience
*Some experience with TDD and Agile methodologies
*Problem analysis and decision-making ability
*Possess demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
*Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to other (non) technical members of the team
*Prior experience of Agile/Scrum
*Client/Server and Multithreaded programming experience is mandatory

How does all that sound? Too good to be true? Click apply and find out!
