I am currently working with a well-established professional services organisation based in Sheffield in the search for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager. My client is a highly reputable business, known as one of the UK leading service providers in its field.
The key objectives for this role are to develop commercial strategy in line with the UK market in which they operate. You will analyse and review existing supplier contracts, identifying areas of opportunity to improve overall services and cost to the business. You will ensure best practice procurement processes are standardised across the business whilst leading all supplier tendering.

We are looking for a senior Procurement professional who can demonstrate an extensive background in conducting framework agreements, bids and tenders. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate a successful background in managing major contracts and re-negotiation exercises as well as the ability to engage with stakeholders and roll out new processes and procedures across the wider business.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

*Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships
*Actively identify and drive cost down and risk mitigation initiatives
*Evaluate and maintain formal framework agreements with key suppliers
*Proactively engage with internal and external stake holders

We would be interested in speaking with professionals who hold the following skills and experience:
*CIPS qualified or educated to Degree level
*A minimum of five years' experience within a strategic procurement role
*Previous experience within a highly regulated, professional services organisation
*Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
*Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail
*Strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills
