This is a rare opportunity for any Science teachers looking to work within a well managed secondary school which holds an excellent reputation. This 11-16 mixed comprehensive secondary school located within the Bolton LEA wish to appoint a Science teacher on a fixed term basis to cover an upcoming maternity leave. The school has consistently been graded 'Good’ throughout previous Ofsted observations and has a well structured Science department led by a popular head of department.
The incoming Science teacher will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities including marking/planning for a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE. Biology, Physics and Chemistry specialist are all encouraged to apply for this role with the department being able to cater the timetable to the ideal and successful applicant.
The school is average in size with around 900 pupils on role and has an excellent reputation. Ofsted have described students as having positive attitudes to learning and showing respect for each other and their teachers.
