Financial Administrator

Our client company are an award winning firm of Independent Financial Advisers with an excellent reputation for creating impartial financial solutions for both individuals and companies. Due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced financial administrator, to provide dedicated, accurate and efficient support to senior financial advisers.

The Role

The opportunity would be suitable to someone who has a background as an administrator within an IFA practice. Role responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive support to senior financial advisers

  • Administering investments, pensions and protection for individual clients

  • Submitting new business and servicing - protection, investments, top-ups, pension transfers and drawdown

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required

  • Must have current / recent experience working as a financial administrator within an IFA practice

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent customer services skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workload

  • Good understanding of remuneration structures e.g. fees and commissions

  • Computer literate

  • Experience of using Adviser Office (Iress) would be an advantage

  • Basic salary between £20,000 & £25,000 (depending on experience)
