£40,000 per annum + enhancements
40 hours per week - Days

Time Recruitment are exclusively representing a small, yet professional and care centred care home provider with and outstanding reputation. We are leading their search for a Deputy Home Manager in the Haslemere area of Surrey, the home specialises in the provision of residential and nursing care, with a focus on dementia care.

With a long standing manager, university accredited training and development plans and ongoing reviews, supervisions and 1-2-1 guidance you will receive strong managerial support alongside support from a well versed and long standing staff nurse team assisted by a wealth of well-trained senior care staff, clinical auditors and staff liaison officers.

The Role:

Reporting to the Home Manager as Deputy Home Manager you will have direct responsibility for the performance of staff nurses and care staff within the home ensuring all training and up skilling is completed, staff rotas are monitored alongside auditing and checking any clinical work completed.

Your role will be both supernumerary and providing clinical assistance when needed. You will liaise with a multi-disciplinary team including CQC and generally assist the home manager in day to day duties.

The Candidate:

Firstly and foremost you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with an active NMC pin. You will come from a care home background with experience of working with elderly and dementia patients, with a minimum of a years' experience in a staff nurse/senior role. You will have experience of managing staffing levels and overseeing nurses and have a demonstrable knowledge of managing nursing and care staff whilst running a successful unit/hospital/home.
