My Client a fantastic market leading global company based in the wirral is recruiting for an internal sales/ customer service manager. Someone to manage their team and provide the interface between operations, external sales and the customer. Improving business relationships  by tackling barriers and responding to the needs of customers. 
You will be responsible for driving the sales team forward to increase sales and overall profitability

There is lots of room for progression in this rapidly expanding company which could lead to a regional management position. 

You will be: 
• Forming strong links between sales and operations to improve the efficiency and delivery of the business by sharing information, creating and maintaining reports and trackers.
• Ensure the internal sales team proactively sell at every opportunity, including driving sales initiatives.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow enquiries, quotations and conflicts through to resolution.
• Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
• Ensure the internal sales team stay up to date with the latest products, legislation and trends to be giving confident and factually correct information to our customers.
• Report on departmental performance indicators 
• Consult directly with clients as well as suppliers/buyers to ensure sales orders and quotations are processed accurately and promptly and in accordance with Key Performance Indicators.
• Enter details of a sales orders/quotations into the company IT System so that client enquiries are properly received and processed until completion of the sales order.
• Maintain and develop computerised sales and marketing database.
• Utilise stock-control system to advise clients on availability of products 
• Liaise closely with other departments within the company to determine the technical requirements for products so that clients receive accurate technical advice.
• Liase closely with Business Development Managers and Heads of Sales to ensure smooth operation and customers requirements are met.
• Ensure all quotations are followed up and updated on time and in accordance with set Key Performance Indicators.

The sucsessful candidate should have:

Current or prior experince of working in the Marine industry
Experience in a sales management position 
Excellent people skills
Advanced IT Skills, fully proficient in all MS packages.
Experience of developing computerised sales and marketing databases

Salary and Benefits 

Salary £30,000- £40,000 per annum depending on experience 
25 days- holiday plus bank holidays 
free parking 
Lots of room for progression

Hours 8.30am- 4.30pm monday to friday
