Due to company growth, our Cheltenham based client is looking for a permanent IT 1st Line Support Engineer to join their established team. This is a very exciting time to be joining a rapidly growing and fast paced company, the candidate will be required to provide assistance both remotely and onsite to all customers, working alongside the Service Desk Coordinator and Project managers to ensure all work is completed efficiently.

Job role
- Answer customer enquires via telephone, tickets and email
- Priorities the ticket que and schedule work in an efficient manor
- Log and update all tickets
- Complete work in the time schedule provided by the service desk coordinator
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Ensure that all general administration and paper work is accurately completed

Candidate attributes

- A knowledge of, MS Office, Anti-Virus, AutoCAD and Adobe would be desirable

- Experience of working in the IT environment would be

- Good customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills on the telephone and face to face
- Ability to work as a team and alone using their own initiative
- Microsoft/ CompTIA or ITIL certification are advantageous
- For this position the candidate must have a full UK driving license

Any experience of VOIP/ Linux/ Mac OS/ Apple Device/ Mobile would be very desirable attributes for our client.

Hours - Monday -Friday - 8am -6pm (rota)
Salary - £21k + On Call Allowance
