Our client is a registered charity delivering services to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. They are seeking a Finance Officer to deal with payment processing, including utilities, and purchase ledger transactions ensuring that invoices are processed promptly and paid within agreed payment terms.
The successful applicant will carry out cashier processing for all bank accounts within the group, including the reconciliation of all the bank control accounts and prepare weekly report and monthly analysis ensuring the timely recording of all bank transactions.
The post holder will also process petty cash reimbursements, ensuring cheques are raised and despatched in a timely manner.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential, but an important aspect is an understanding of cash books and purchase ledgers, as well attention to detail.
