£26,500 per annum plus benefits
A leading law firm is seeking to grow their team with the addition of an organised and proactive Business Development Executive to work closely alongside the Business Development Manager. The role of the Business Development Executive is critical to supporting the Group Sales and Marketing team and building the presence and reputation for the firm within existing and prospective clients.
-Updating the sales pipelines, taking minutes at business development meetings, circulating actions and follow-up to ensure compliance with agreed timetables, assisting with key client analysis and monitoring of professional work referrals.
-Assisting fee earners with logging activities, running activity reports, logging opportunities and proposals. You will also make searches within company CRM, populating and amending client contact lists and events lists.
-Collateral preparation and development - preparing content for brochures and pitches, liaising with graphic design teams regarding advert preparation and ordering promotional material.
-Events support - liaising closely with Events team on event management and ensuring that the maximum return on investment is delivered, recorded and followed-up.
-Preparing and updating new joiners' starter packs, arranging photos, web profiles, blogs and updating collateral.
-Key support to communications and PR, collating content for regular news requests, assisting in preparation of content for newsletters.
-Assisting in the preparation of press releases and collating and circulating press-cuttings.
-Social media - assisting fee earners with their Twitter feed, LinkedIn profiles and audits and preparing material for the content hub.
-Corporate hospitality - booking tickets, restaurants and venues in support of the Executive Assistants/Business Support teams.
-Researching venues for events, managing data regarding external dinners in order to analyse ROI.
-Educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing or business related subject.
-Highly organised and efficient with strong time-management skills.
-An excellent communicator, personable, articulate and calm.
-Able to anticipate and behave proactively, rather than waiting to be directed.
-Excellent written skills with an eye for detail.
-A positive and helpful attitude and enthusiasm.
-Highly PC literate in full MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
-Experience post-education in an internship, ideally related to the legal or B2B marketing profession.
-Experience in using social media for commercial purposes.
-Professionally and smartly presented.
