With a high proportion of consumer focussed clients within the FMCG, Retail, Consumer Technology & Pharmaceutical space, they are looking to hire a 'high flier' with a strong procurement and supply chain background.

Description

The role of the consultant will be to work with a number of high profile clients that require procurement specialist to work alongside those already in the business, delivering on key projects across a variety of transformation projects.

Areas of responsibility will typically include the following:

Managing one or more projects and delivering results within defined deadlines

  • Meeting with key stakeholders to define project needs, whilst structuring and leading strategy, writing and presenting reports
  • Developing and implementing improved processes
  • Managing key client relationships to ensure efficiency
  • Working with other key third party organisations
  • Leading supplier negotiations
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities

Profile

Experience

3 to 5 years experience of procurement within a blue chip organisation.

Highly educated from a Russell group University or equivalent

CIPS Qualified

Skills

An adaptable personality and the ability to thrive in a team environment

Strong stakeholder and Supplier relationship skills

Very analytical and strong numerical skills

Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills

Languages are useful too

Job Offer

between £45,000 to £55,000 based on experience
