Event Manager - Prestigious 5* Venue - London

Up to £32K + bonus + excellent benefits

I am currently working with a multi-award winning stunning venue in the heart of London. Having won the Best Large Venue Award at the industry awards, my client are now looking for an experienced event manager to join their expanding team. Working across a large venue, comprising 9 conference and event rooms, playing host to 1900 guests, you will need a huge passion for events, energy to manage a team of up to 300 full time and casual staff, along with a fine eye for detail to ensure everything is meticulous for high profile guests and clients.

On a day to day basis you will be working within a team of 8 experienced event managers to deliver the very best events at one of the best venues in the UK. Reporting to the head of event delivery, you will work closely with all departments to ensure smooth running of all events, from breakfast meetings, lunch conferences and 1500+ sit down dinners spread across the 9 rooms.

To be successful in this role you must have experience in managing events for at least 500 guests, have a real passion and hunger to build a strong career in event management and have a fine eye for detail, leaving no stone un turned at every event. It is also essential that you are willing to learn, develop and grow with the brand, whilst being able to bring passion and hunger and be able to bring your personality to every event at all times.

In return for the right candidate, my client offer an excellent salary package including a discretionary bonus at Christmas. In conjunction to this, unlike any other operator in the industry, you will be contracted to a 40 hour week, with genuine time in Lieu. Along with this, excellent holiday packages, healthcare and a pension scheme is offered.
