tfconnect are looking for a switched-on, driven part-time junior marketer with supreme writing ability and social media skills to join their growing global recruitment business, based in Buckinghamshire.

The Role:

You'll join the marketing function of a busy and varied recruitment firm serving the global events industry. You'll be driving the success of the business' digital marketing function by overseeing day-to-day advertising processes, producing and collating B2B content as well as devising and delivering social media campaigns in support of the Marketing Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering consistently brilliant social media content aimed at both candidates and global events businesses
  • Writing, updating and distributing SEO-friendly job adverts using job boards and Broadbean multi-posting platform
  • Assisting in both research, development and delivery of B2B content marketing
  • Creating e-shots for both large-scale campaigns and one-to-one messaging using merge tags, segmented audiences and marketing automation
  • Embedding yourself in the events industry and fully understanding the nature of our clients in order to effectively support the team
  • Assistance in maintaining large databases of global exhibition contacts and candidates
  • Maintaining a database of SEO key phrases, updating website copy and the company Adwords platform as necessary
  • Responding to requests from both the recruitment team and the Marketing Manager, remaining organised in a fast-paced and sometimes complex environment
  • Developing and delivering marketing reports as required

You'll need:

  • Proven success within an office-based marketing role OR extensive and well-received work-experience during your marketing degree is essential
  • Creative writing ability - you'll need be able to match the 'tone' of the business and follow internal writing guidelines while bringing your own creative flair to marketing projects and content
  • Basic understanding of modern digital marketing processes and challenges such as marketing automation, targeting and personalisation, CPC campaigns, SEO, user experience etc
  • Full IT confidence - with an instant ability to use tools and platforms such as Broadbean, Airtable, Trello, Hootsuite and others. You'll also need to be Microsoft Office savvy, with knowledge of Excel formulas
  • Supreme organisation and attention to detail - with an understanding that errors and typos can harm a brand and that confidentiality is key
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing and social algorithms - how these interplay and how they can be effectively used to increase rankings and website traffic
  • A flexible approach and the desire to deliver amazing marketing and drive business success
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop / graphics packages is desirable but not essential
  • BA(Hons) Marketing or similar preferred
