Position Description
CGI are currently looking for experienced customer-facing Technical Architects to join one of our fastest growing Business Units based in our Reading and London offices.

We work with six of the ten largest global telecommunication services providers

This role will sit within our EUT (Energy and Utilities, Telecoms) Business Unit working on BSS and OSS solutions for our Telecoms clients across the UK. Your future duties and responsibilities

You will be expected to define, validate and promote quality solutions for our client opportunities. You will be act as the key point of contact for technical matters with both the client and our internal technical teams. The ability to present ideas and solutions clearly to different audiences is a key skill.

You need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of designing and implementing solutions that have met the client's needs, together with experience of the full project lifecycle; including support of project estimation and consultancy within a pre-sales environment. Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams is desirable Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You will have expert knowledge and demonstrable experience in OSS and BSS systems and architectures covering at least 2 of the following domains, mediation, billing, order management, provisioning or assurance

Ideally you should also have delivery experience of one of the following technologies within the Telecoms marketplace. Data Warehousing, Analytics and Big Data technologies and architectures (ETL, BI tools, etc.). Knowledge working with IP network infrastructures, architectures and protocols, security and data protection, network function virtulisation also highly desirable
