Our client, an established and successful manufacturing organisation has a permanent opportunity for a Finance Controller. Working to support the existing Finance Manager, alongside the Management Accountant and working as part of a larger finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager in the achievement of assigned goals in the arrangement and analysis of the economic, property and financial reporting in collaboration with the Management Account Supervisor
  • Collaborate with the Management Accounting Supervisor in the integration of the economic, financial and property planning process
  • Control the administrative/statutory/fiscal policies in compliance with the laws in force
  • Draft the economic, property and financial reports within the terms and conditions encompassed by the Group’s procedures
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external control bodies
  • Support Finance Manager in the correct drafting of the statutory financial statement
  • Arrange the reporting supplied to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure technical support on administrative matters
  • Promote a safety-bound culture
  • Apply the Corporate Principles and Values

Job Specific Skills and Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field, plus
  • ACCA qualified
  • Previous experience of operating in a business or finance environment
  • Good people skills
  • Very good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to research, analyse and present data
  • An understanding of required standards of data privacy
  • Previous experience of using SAP is advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced excel
