Area Manager Multi site
My Client is the world`s largest distributor of plumbing and heating supplies and construction materials. Organised into an array of trading brands, this company offers a wide range of services to its customers. Currently going through an exciting and innovative transformation, my client is fast growing and hugely successful.
As an Area Manager, your main job role is to maximize the profitability of your network, in this case, covering 7 branches and constantly motivating and developing staff members. You must set a clear direction for your network including the delivery of a business plan and communicating aims and objectives. It is key that you develop a culture based on high performance and agreed customer care principles and objectives, always striving to maximize sales and improving the business by searching for new opportunities. Another key part of your role as Area Manager, is to identify and communicate KPI`s and deliver the budget to your network on branches. An exciting and challenging role where the successful candidate will coach and mentor, manage budgets, tackle areas of underperformance, lead recruitment and development, manage resources and motivate and coach a team of experienced individuals.
The Successful Applicant
As an experienced Area Manager, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience: A trade/merchants background (ideally within the plumbing and parts sector. Minimum of five years experience Ideally experience of area management within a network of stores/branches Can demonstrate clear capability in managing complex issues and delivered sustainable results. Strong leadership skills Driven and able to challenge a management team Working knowledge of health, safety and environment regulations, to manage risk to staff and customers
