The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager for our Pumpkin Cafe and Upper Crust at Swindon Railway station, with these two stores will have the support of a Multi Unit Manager. As Assistant Manager you will manage the store's performance, be responsible for delivering operational and financial results, you will need to be target driven and high standards in customer service.

Assistant Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of up to 13 staff, motivating and developing your team, this includes recruiting, training and managing the teams performance. This is a hands on role.

The Details

To be successful as Assistant Manager in this role, you will need to have experience of successfully managing a similar outlet such as a branded Bakery or coffee retail outlet with set standards and operating procedures.

  • You will be commercially aware with good planning and analysis skills, able to manage a P&L and have a proven track record of financial results.
  • Previous management experience
  • You will have managed a team and have examples of motivating and developing your people, managing their performance where necessary and improving individual and overall team performance.
  • You will also be able to demonstrate competent management of 'brand' or company standards, H&S and F&S Training, Licence Holder an advantage, having good audit and/or mystery shopper results
