To increase Market Share within a defined geographical territory by providing multimedia advice and solutions to retain and grow existing customer spend and frequency.

Key areas of accountability:

  • Present a portfolio of media products that meets the customers’ needs and Johnston Press Group objectives

  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets and KPI performance areas

  • Adopt the JP Sales Process with recording and data capture within the SFDC territory support tool.

  • Effective appointment making to optimise contact and performance. revenue

  • Educate customers in new products and propositions that will enhance their business performance and meet group objectives by utlising high quality sales material to reinforce the sales message and processes

  • Deliver quality conversations building integrated Multimedia solutions

  • Deliver growth within existing customer base by enhancing order value and value for customer

  • Support a culture where the focus is on delivering satisfying customer experience which builds long term profitable relationships

  • Actively review media solutions and advertising campaign performance on a regular basis to ensure needs are met and a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Confident at presentation delivery

  • Well presented and able to hold high level conversations

  • Commercially aware with strong business acumen with excellent sector knowledge

  • Used to working within very fixed deadlines and under pressure

  • Good at handling objections

  • Experience of building long term business relationships

  • Digitally savvy including knowledge of social media platforms

  • Quick and flexible thinker to demonstrate fast assessment of needs

  • Reliable, optimistic, hard working with high energy

  • Strong planning and organisational skills

  • Strong customer relationship management

  • Experience in the advertising and/or marketing industries is a plus

  • Comfortable working with CRM and tech enabled systems

  • Strong evidence of portfolio selling
