We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time General Assistant to join our Supported Leasehold team in Southend and Rochford. This role will be based out of Cambridge Court in Southend but you will work across three further local schemes in close proximity.

The role involves being responsible for day-to-day cleanliness and hygiene of the communal areas of the properties. You will be required to work within a scheme supporting older people so will need to demonstrate a customer focused approach and ensure the residents safety. You will be responsible for cleaning all the communal areas for our residents. You will ensure the scheme is kept clean and tidy and ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to.

You will ensure that you are polite and provide excellent customer service at all times. You will be required to pick up any extra tasks as required by the manager.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a Care and Support capacity and have experience of working in a customer service environment. You will have proven experience of routine cleaning and be able to manage and prioritise your work load.

The total number of hours for this post will be 24 hours per week. You will need to be flexible and work varied hours according to the needs of the scheme. The role will pay £15,587.60 pro rata (based on a 39 hour per week role)
