This is an exciting time to join The Guinness Partnership. In 2016, we established our national Customer Contact directorate which delivers front line services to over 60,000 homes across England. With new and efficient ways of working, we now need to build on the successes we have had and grow the team to develop a streamlined national service.

We are currently looking for dynamic and passionate team members to join our Customer Accounts Team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment basis. This team is responsible for protecting our income and assisting our customers to maintain a healthy account balance through effective prevention and rigorous collection of debt.

With excellent customer service and negotiation skills, you will have knowledge of debt and arrears and the debt collection process. You will work with a diverse customer base and will be expected to provide a diplomatic yet assertive service. You will be well organised and self motivated with the confidence to initiate contact with customers in a contact centre environment.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working in a debt recovery environment and are able to work under pressure whilst meeting performance targets and deadlines. If this sound likes you then please get in touch.

Working 35 hours over 5 days per week. Shifts are between 8am-8pm Monday - Saturday.

Skills/ExperienceEssential:

- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Previous experience in a target driven environment.
- Good oral and written communications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to demonstrate Guinness behavioural competencies.

Desirable:

- Experience of working in debt recovery and knowledge of welfare benefits.
- Proven experience of dealing with customers sensitively in difficult situations.
- Experience of working in the housing industry.
- Working knowledge of external services offered by local authorities and other relevant organisations.
