Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. We are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2017. 

Based in open, vibrant offices, you’ll receive great training from a friendly and experienced team to ensure that you are confident in your role. 

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll provide a high level of administrative support to the Accounts Team. 

You’ll help to ensure that the Accounts Team performs all required reconciliation, bank account and system ledger tasks within agreed timescales and in-line with company policies.

Specifically, your duties will involve: 

- Responding to telephone queries and correspondence in an efficient and professional manner 
- Ensuring that received payments are accurately allocated within 24 hours of receipt 
- Making sure that refunds and funding payments are accurately posted 
- Uploading spreadsheets

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Data processing experience 
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel 

Highly numerate and analytical, as an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be a self-motivated team player with a great eye for detail. Superb communication skills, a highly organised approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also key.

Knowledge of accounting would be beneficial to your application. 

Please note, successful candidates will be required to undertake a competency-based interview and practical assessment at Premium Credit’s office in Leatherhead. This will include a keyboard skill test.
