The Company

A well established photocopier dealership who have an excellent reputation for the quality of their customer service, support services and product expertise. Due to continued growth, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced photocopier engineer.

The Role

The service field engineer is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of multi-functional devices and printers, under service operation contracts, to a specified standard. The field service engineer is responsible for meeting (and/or exceeding) the agreed targets allocated to their position on an on-going basis.

*To utilise your skills to achieve (or exceed) the targets allocated to you and the activity targets that you have been set on an on-gong basis
*Delivery, Installation of MFD's to manufacturer and customer specifications including IT connectivity
*Identify issues, perform diagnostics and complete on-site repairs, including testing to MCP
*Provide preventative maintenance to ensure all products perform to optimal efficiency
*Escalate unresolved issues according to the SLA guidelines
*Support workshop and office tasks when required
*Provision of multi-level customer training
*Participate in maintaining and developing a positive relationships with partners and end users
*Manage tools and parts and time in an efficient way
*Work effectively as both part of a team and as an individual
*Provide on-going accurate updates of activity and success for your manager
*Update the company's systems at all times in a timely manner
*Attend meetings and training as requested
*Observe Health &Safety at all times and ensure that the company assets you are responsible for are kept to the required standard.

*You must have experience in a similar role
*Training preferred on the Canon range (other manufacturer experience will be considered)
*Recent evidence of ability
*Able to learn quickly and put learning in to practice
*Team player
*Strong and confident communicator
*Good all round IT knowledge
*Willingness to travel nationwide on occasions with potential for overnight stay
*Must have a full UK driving licence, ideally no more than 3 penalty points

*Salary circa. £28k depending on experience

Office located in the Kidderminster/Wyre Forest area. Field Based work can be national although mainly West Midlands.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
