We have an ideal position for a Site Engineer wanting to join a highly regarded contractor on a major tunnelling station development in Central London. Your prior experience of reinforced concrete on either project delivery or temporary works will be essential to this particular project. You will be working as part of the project team on the ongoing work for the £1.2billion Northern Line Extension.
This scheme is extending the current Northern Line to Nine Elms and Battersea and the particular section of works you will be undertaking is for the main station box at Battersea.

For this particular position, your key duties and responsibilities will include: Setting out as required Liaison with the project team to ensure a safe, timely delivery of a quality product Plan, manage and monitor the construction of the works to an acceptable level of quality as expected by the contractor and client Under direction, prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans Liaise with others, including subcontracting teams and other contractors on site, to ensure safe systems of work are prepared in a timely manner and followed Ensure appropriate training is identified and your own personal development is met together with making sure other members of the project team under your control and subcontractors receive the relevant and necessary training for the project

Ensure all direct and subcontract staff are competent and adequately trained in the operation of necessary plant and equipment and the processes involved in the workplace Ensure liaison with any external stakeholders is carried out and agreed controls and commitments are met
This is a perfect role in which you can demonstrate and employ your considerable experience and skills whilst also adding to your existing knowledge and abilities.

If you are interested in this position, you will also need to demonstrate that you possess the following requirements
A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering Have prior experience of working for a main contractor
Prior experience of reinforced concrete
