Our client works with central Banks and Governments all across the globe, providing critical products for today's economy.
Due to continuous growth, they would like to welcome a Product and Process Improvement Manager to their product development and production team.

The ideal candidate will be Six Sigma qualified (or similar) and will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering Six Sigma projects type projects targeting and realising cost reductions.

Key requirements:

•Degree in a STEM subject or materials science desirable
•Industrial experience of bringing products to market in conjunction with other business functions
•Commercial experience in building and proposing viable business cases for high cost/value improvement projects
•Using statistical analysis and tools to optimise large scale manufacturing facilities
•Experience using a PPAP type system for product change control or introductions
•Proficiency in GR&R and Measurement Systems Evaluation
•Ability to utilise root cause analysis tools such as Cause & Effect, 5 Whys, Hypothesis testing, etc.
•Knowledge / Understanding of APQP
•Defining project success criteria and running feature validation projects
•Proficiency in MiniTab or similar
•Able to work comfortably in complicated or novel situations and performs well under pressure

Ability to travel and work away from home for short periods of time, extended periods on occasion would be desirable.
