Job Title: HVAC / Maintenance Engineer (Air Handling Units)

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £34,000, Pension and Health Plan

Our client is a market leading Facilities Management company enjoying substantial growth with an impressive multi-site customer retail base.

As a result of continued growth we are now looking to recruit a HVAC / Maintenance Engineer for a number of large retail department store sites in Central London such as Westfield, Baker Street, Oxford Street, Victoria Street, Shepherds Bush and surrounding areas.

The role will focus on the maintenance of Air Handling Units.

Job Purpose:

To maintain and repair a range of mechanical plant and equipment in large retail department stores including all building services in an efficient and cost effective manner.
To provide a PPM and reactive maintenance service, as directed by the client and help desk function.
Drive the PPM schedule on the clients HVAC and Mechanical Infrastructure across a number of sites.
The successful candidate will be the “go to person”, working closely with store management teams and third party contractors, so good communication skills and a strong customer focussed approach are essential
The Successful candidate will have experience changing belts, filters and pulleys and have strong experience of maintaining / repairing Air Handling units (AHU’S).

Qualifications/skills required:

C&G qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer / NVQ Level 3 minimum
Experience with HVAC systems
General maintenance duties.
Strong experience of working on AHU’s
Previous multi-site experience in a retail environment would be beneficial


Desirable but not essential:-

C&G 2380 Pat testing
PASMA certified
IPATH certified
