An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Process / Project Engineer who is qualified with an HNC or higher in an engineering discipline. This Process / Project Engineer must come from a Liquid Food processing or similar background.

Our Client is one of the largest suppliers of Process technology for the food, Pharmaceutical and a range of other industries, this role is centred around the food processing industry. The position is for a Process / Projects Engineer and is a fantastic opportunity for a Food Engineer to take the next step in their career and work for one of the world leaders in process engineering technology.

As a Process / Project Engineer you will:

* Participate in Customer meetings in order to understand and define the needs
* Create a Process Flow Diagram using Visio/AutoCAD
* To define the Lay-Out with support of CAD department
* Write a process description to be used in the quotation
* Make the requests to the sub-suppliers for third party equipment
* Prepare the cost calculation file
* Close cooperation with the Project Manager
* Short business trips to customer's site
* Elaboration of the corrective solutions if needed (in relationship with the Project Manager) to get final acceptance
* To follow and apply EHS rules of GEA and the customer
* Represent GEA in front of the customer when needed

Qualifications / Experience

* Engineering background in Liquid Food processing or similar
* First experience as a project engineer or production manager in liquid food business or similar
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/Visio, Microsoft project
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* Able to communicate oral/written in English
