Who are we looking for?

The job
*Meet learner at start and end of day and escort from taxi/reception to class.
*Support in class: scribe, break down information, liaise with tutors in respect of work plan and outstanding assignments. Assist learner to plan and manage homework diary.
*Support learner to participate in class discussion and to formulate their ideas verbally and in writing.
*Liaise with tutors in core subject and English and maths to ensure exam access arrangements have been facilitated by course in advance and learner is prepped for exams.
*Records of support and SMART targets agreed with learner, set on ProMonitor and regularly reviewed.

Do you qualify?
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

*Experience of managing communication with parents and managing flow of confidential information with staff across the organisation.
*Experience of supporting people with epilepsy.

*Qualified First Aider
*Qualified to administer Buccal Midazolam by a recognised training body
*A DBS Certificate that is on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
