Job Title – Building Maintenance Supervisor

Location – England – National Coverage ideal candidates would be based between South Birmingham and Milton Keynes

Salary - £35,000 plus Company Van, Pension and Cash Health Plan

Our client is a market leading Facilities Management company enjoying substantial growth with an impressive multi-site customer retail base.

As a result of continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Building Maintenance Supervisor to cover a number of retail sites across England.

This is a National role covering areas throughout England therefore candidates must be ideally located to cover areas such as Milton Keynes, Dartford and South Birmingham.

Job Description: -

• Help team to deliver general fabric installations and repairs at various BP Filling Stations in a cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Supervise a team of Building maintenance technicians including general administration and subcontractor supervision
• Ensure clear communication with team members, customers, line management, office support staff, subcontractors
• Provide technical support for client, and technicians relating to civils, small works, shop-fitting and plumbing.
• Ensuring delivery of services in line with contract KPI’s/SLA’s
• Ability to survey and cost additional remedial works as required and provide supporting documentation
• Maintain a strong customer focused approach to service delivery.
• Maintain effective working relationships with colleague’s clients, customers and work as part of a team

Qualifications/skills required:
• Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience with mobile operatives.
• IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification
• Experience in costing and delivering small works projects
• Knowledge and experience of maintain/repair a range of building fabrics
• Good all-round building skills
• Good plumbing and joinery skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good knowledge of IT Systems (Word, Excel).
