My Client provides services in all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control including legionella risk assessments into the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers.

They currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Water Hygiene Fitter based in the Bristol area.

You will provide primarily water hygiene remedial works, and as required other services, to clients as directed by the Operations Manager / Supervisor.

The role:

Undertake plumbing, tank replacements and remedial works as instructed and in accordance with current standards
Evaluate job at site and make amendments as necessary to complete the work.
Possess the ability to problem solve and take responsibility for any work adjustments and modifications from Grade 1 fitters.
Responsible for quality of work of other fitters working with or on related works and site sign off / hand over.
Undertake other water hygiene related activities as instructed and in accordance with current standards
Work away from time to time, this requirement shall be defined by the operational needs of the business
Work overtime to complete works when required; this is to be authorised by the Operations Supervisor or above only.

Requirements:
Qualifications - You must have Plumbing - C&G, WRAS, Corgi, NVQ2 or 3

Experience - Ability to work in physically demanding environment, 5 years experience in plumbing of domestic water systems, hot working, Copper and plastic pipework / mechanical ability, Responsibility of other fitters / plumbers.

Knowledge of BS6700, Water Regulations, WRAS

Skills - Ability to work on own initiative, lead jobs, supervise a number of operatives and prioritise workloads.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in estimating work requirements and materials required.

Full Clean Driving Licence.
