Lecturer In Initial Teacher Education Secondary PGCE Modern Languages

The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer in Modern Languages Education to work primarily on its highly rated Secondary PGCE programme. You will work as part of a team contributing primarily to PGCE Secondary provision and to the wider PGCE/PGDE ITE programmes and undertake appropriate course leadership, management and administrative duties. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, together with recent and relevant experience of Initial Teacher Education, in higher education and/or the Secondary education sector. It would be expected for applicants to hold a Master's degree or equivalent and desirable to have a PhD/EdD or be close to completion.
