The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer in History Education (ITE) to work across its highly rated Teach First Secondary PGDE and Secondary PGCE courses. You will work as part of a team contributing to the wider ITE programmes and undertake appropriate course leadership, management and administrative duties. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, together with recent and relevant experience of Initial Teacher Education, in higher education and/or the Secondary education sector. It would be expected for you to hold a Master's degree and desirable to have a PhD/EdD or be close to completion.

We anticipate that interviews will be held week commencing 22 May 2017, but this may be subject to change.
