Change Programme Project Officer

35 hours per week
Temporary up to 31 March 2018
£26,798 - £29,536 (including Distant Islands Allowance)

You will have a good understanding of the need to bring about changes and improve the way Local Government operates. The Project Officer will provide support to the Change Programme Manager to enable the successful delivery of approved service reviews, change projects and other programme activities.

You will support the Change Programme Manager by providing first-line support for programme and project stakeholders, offering day to day issue resolution. In doing so you will be working with Heads of Service, project managers and related staff across a range of Council services to ensure that effective monitoring and reporting of project deliverables and project quality control and governance processes are put in place and maintained.

Applicants for Project Officer should be educated to a HND level (or equivalent), with excellent verbal, written and computer skills, you will work well within a team, and have experience of processing complex information accurately in a variety of media and formats. You will have good communication skills, be able to co-ordinate and prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative.
