Accounts Assistant Job in York.

Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently are currently working with a large construction and property organisation based in York. Due to continued growth and development this company are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Your new role
Within this role you will be posting journals and raising invoices. You will assist with monthly group reporting, preparing monthly accounts and collating information for budgets and forecasts. You will produce balance sheet reconciliations and work closely with the financial accountant to assist on various projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need an understanding of accounting. It would be beneficial to have studied or be studying your AAT. You will be PC literate with good Excel skills. You will be a strong communicator with a can do attitude.
