This organisation is renowned for excellence and innovation within the Maintenance/Asset Management consulting and training services industry. They are seeking a Technical Sales Representative responsible for the North of England (Lancashire, Yorkshire and North East).

Reporting to the General Manager - Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling off the shelf and bespoke technical training programmes and products to engineering and maintenance organisations through maintaining excellent existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities through their excellent prospecting skills.

You will have:

- Credible experience in selling B2B technical training Courses and programmes
- A clear understanding of mechanical and electrical skills to develop credible partnerships with current and potential clients
- Proven sales experience including the identification and follow through of on-sell opportunities
- Ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships skills with demonstrable experience working with training, HR and Engineering functions within client businesses, particularly within large corporate environments
- Experienced in proactive prospecting to identify new clients through building relationships with key decisions makers within the target marketplace
- A full driving licence as frequent travel will be required as part of the role.

- Prior experience in delivering technical training programmes
- A qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

You will demonstrate:
- A high degree of personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness with a willingness to travel
- Ability to engage directly and communicate effectively at all levels including highly developed listening and influencing skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Passion for developing the skills and knowledge of teams to improve business and individual performance
- Great customer focus
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritise work effectively in order to meet deadlines
