Do you have experience as a teaching assistant?

Supporting pupils with SEN in a high school environment?

Due to our expanding client base we are urgently recruiting for supply and long term SEN teaching assistant positions starting straight away, this will be working with students with behavioural and emotional needs. You would be supporting children with special educational needs and be expected to guide and direct them to reach their full potential in a range of subjects.

What do I need to have?

• SEN teaching assistant experience (desirable not essential)

• Empathetic, highly supportive and understanding of the needs of individual pupils

• NVQ level 3 qualified

• Previous experience with year 7 and above students

• Flexible and available to work at least 3 days a week or more

Roles situated in Manchester, Staffordshire and Cheshire, if you have previous school experience as a Teaching Assistant (supporting Special Needs) you are welcome to apply. This is initially temporary on an ongoing supply basis with a view to securing a school based contract as they structure and set out plans for the new academic year.
