Remploy have been successful in being awarded a ESF (European Skills Funded) Contract covering the North East.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Support learners to undertake initial and diagnostics assessments using BKSB, and subsequently develop tailored action plans to include SMART targets.
2.Plan lessons effectively and ensure that activities are differentiated towards individual
3.learners, and that learner support is effectively assessed, reviewed, implemented, and evaluated (where required) throughout the learner's journey
4.Train, assess, motivate, mentor and support learners, assisting them to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for work and independence.
5.Undertake regular and meaningful reviews with learners to ensure they remain engaged in the programme and that they are progressing well relative to their initial starting point.
6.Promote, and deliver training in accordance with qualification and centre guidelines, including the promotion of equality and diversity in all lessons.
7.Adhere to all statutory responsibilities and ensure Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures are followed at all times.
8.Undertake and respond to learner and stakeholder feedback; contributing to Remploy's cycle of quality improvement.
9.Take part in standardisation and team meetings and undertake continuing professional development as required.
10.Maintain high standards of quality and compliance and complete all contractual paperwork and documentation as required.
11.Build and maintain excellent partner/employer relationships that will be essential to the success of this programme.
KEY BUSINESS PRIORITIES (including targets and KPI's)
*Learners engaged, starts on programme, retention and completions of non-accredited and accredited programmes/qualifications
*Distance travelled for learners, soft-outcomes; increased self-esteem, confidence, motivation, adaptability
*Learner success rates and timely success rates
*Learner progression and positive destinations

ESSENTIAL
*Teaching qualification CTTLs (equivalent) or above
*Proven track record of working with unemployed adults
*Proven track record of working with adults with complex barriers to progression
*Proven track record of delivering funded employability programmes (including accredited and non-accredited qualifications)
DESIRABLE
*A1/TAQA or equivalent
*Working with / delivering employability programmes to disabled adults / those with health conditions
*Delivering vocational programmes
*Working with employers, to ensure programmes are employment focussed
*Current knowledge of SFA funding rules
*Curriculum design experience
*To have the ability to travel independently as required
SPECIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a wide range of communication and learning styles
*Strong interpersonal skills, specifically around listening, questioning, building relationships, motivation and demonstrating initiative
*Influencing skills that promote commitment and action to improve learner independence
*Must have a passion for supporting disabled people and those with complex barriers to reach better life outcomes
*Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate contractual paperwork and reports
*Customer and outcome focused with a solutions based approach
*Planning, problem solving, organisation skills and the ability to work under own initiative
*Computer skills - good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Excellent classroom management skills
