Your new role
The Senior Java Software Engineer for this business will be responsible for all of the technical aspects of the on-going activities of the eCommerce development team including the implementation and support of existing eCommerce platforms.
This business have invested heavily in the Hybris platform and are looking for the Senior Software Engineer to be the technical lead in supporting the development team in delivering industry leading and robust software solutions based around Hybris.
This role will be working as head of a software team of 13 developers, business analysts & project managers and will be reporting into a Head of Digital to look at overall development strategy and new projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Java 7 + or J2EE
- Commercial web application development skills
- Technical Lead or Senior Developer knowledge level
- Agile methodologies including Scrum
- Experience of working within an eCommerce business
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies, frameworks etc
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment within a DevOps environment
