About The Role

We are looking for an Access Control Team Leader to execute the strategic direction for the Access Control team and ensures all their activities align to the vision for Access and Security within the Service Operation department. Line manages the Access Control team, ensuring at least good levels of performance from all team members. Defines the standards for processes and procedures to ensure that appropriate levels of access for individuals and control of systems are in places. Ensures compliance with the Society’s published Access Control and Security Policies, whilst ensuring that members’ service is not compromised.  Makes informed decisions to allow/dis-allow access to CBS systems. Acts with a high level of integrity as this role involves access to systems and data at the highest and most sensitive levels.

Essential Skills:

  • Recognised IT support qualification, ITIL Foundation or SDI equivalent, plus significant experience in first-line IT support roles.
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration
  • Data Protection Act
  • Process development
  • Audit requirements
