An establishment in York is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager with management experience, and the ability to run a fast-paced restaurant. The duties of the Restaurant Manager will include:

- Running a busy restaurant, while delivering outstanding customer service.- Working across departments to deliver wedding and banqueting services.
- Being responsible for the management and development of the hospitality    department within this establishment.
- Communicating with and catering to the needs of customers.

- Taking responsibility for staff members within the restaurant, and ensuring that quality  of service is maintained throughout.

- Working five days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Extensive experience in restaurant management is essential for this role. Personal qualities should include:

- Passion; as the face of the restaurant you should be passionate about the industry and delivering excellent customer service.

- Friendly nature; as Restaurant Manager you will need to be friendly to both customers and staff, encouraging people to return to the establishment.

- Motivational; you should possess a clear hands-on approach in which you lead by example.

- Being a team-player; leading a team of staff is a primary responsibility, as well as the requirement of working with other departments outside of your own.

- Outstanding communication skills; customers and staff will turn to you for answers and direction, therefore you need to be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
