I am currently working on behalf of a well-known healthcare provider that support adults living with a learning disability or autism or mental health conditions with complex needs across specialist health and social care settings throughout the UK.
The service itself is an independent hospital which provides assessment and intervention for adults living with a variety of physical and mental health conditions.
As Hospital Director you will be leading the staff team in further improving the quality of the service and delivering the right outcomes for people who use it. The service is a reasonably new purpose built service that current requires some improvement. As such you will however be given the opportunity to put your own stamp on it and so someone who can make changes and bring new ideas will be beneficial. You will have overall responsibility and accountability for the management of the service. As the Hospital Director you will encourage in others the required standards of practice. Through effective leadership and management, you will ensure full compliance to the relevant regulatory and professional standards
Successful applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- A valid nursing qualification ideally RMN, however RGN/RNLD will also be considered depending on their background
- Proven track record in managing clinical services for adults with physical and mental health conditions
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
- Full understanding of CQC regulations
- Any experience with improving underperforming service will be looked upon favourably
Salary - 55k
