As an electro mechanical technician you will work as part of a highly professional team of multi skilled engineers working on planned maintenance and fault finding. You will be responsible for the maintenance of plant machinery, equipment and services to business requirements and optimum performance, whilst observing safety standards and regulations at all times.

Key responsibilities:

  • As an electrical technician you will work as part of a team on planned maintenance activity and also be able to demonstrate your fault finding skills when dealing with AC and DC equipment, PLC control systems, instruments and controllers along with experience of panel wiring and machine services installation.
  • Complimentary mechanical fault finding skills when dealing with components encountered in mechanical drive systems, pneumatics / hydraulics, along with general workshop skills will be advantageous.
  • Safety is a key requirement in this role, so knowledge of the health and safety requirements in a maintenance environment is essential, along with an ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a highly skilled team.
  • This role is for the night shift, with the shift allowance of 33.3%

Experience required:

  • To have completed an approved apprenticeship and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance position.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety requirements in a maintenance environment
  • Team player, hands-on attitude, self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision

  • To be able to work independently on a variety of problems. Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Have a flexible approach and be able accommodate 'dynamics’ of the business

Salary: £17,564.00 - £32,620.00 pa
