Senior Network Engineer - (Homebase or Office) - london
Radius is seeking a highly talented Senior Network Consultant for a global organisation.This role gives you flexibility to be home based whilst also gaining career progression within an rapidly growing organisation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Working closely with infrastructure support to provide NSX support and troubleshooting.
o Review, update and create supporting documentation of customer networks including network diagrams, technical design documents, maintaining IP registers etc.
o Work closely with technical pre-sales to design customer networks.
o Participate in professional services implementation work.
o Generally be involved with all facets of the network team and being prepared to assist where possible
o Ability to apply critical analysis to a problem as part of a methodical approach to debugging and troubleshooting network issues
o Have a desire to grow both technically and professionally and to be challenged.
POSITIONS SPECIFICATIONS (State educational and job experience requirements)
F5 BIG-IP or Load balancers
Design and implementation of complex network infrastructures
Excellent understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting
Very good understanding of the OSI Reference Model
Particularly its application to fault diagnosis
Excellent understanding of IPSec VPN
Experience of troubleshooting inter-operability issues between vendor technologies
Excellent understanding of BGP, OSPF and routing principles in general
Experience supporting VMware NSX - not essential
Experience of implementing and supporting MPLS
Experience with Cisco FirePOWER (ex SourceFIRE)
Certification to F5-CTS LTM, F5-CSE desirable but not essential
