An important client of mine requires an experienced Account Manager responsible to Head of Business Development. The ideal candidate must have experience working as an account manager. The ideal candidate will be selling traded and bespoke branded content solutions to agencies and their clients. To generate revenue, to achieve team expectation, company targets and handle ongoing accounts.

  • To act as brand advocate through regular contact with agencies and an in depth knowledge of both brands editorially and their commercial platforms
  • To generate revenue through innovative pitching to agencies, including planners, buyers account directors and clients and clients direct
  • Hold regular face-to-face meetings with agencies and clients to generate awareness
  • To understand the client’s needs and respond imaginatively to briefs
  • Generate and present cases in a bespoke manner
  • To suggest new ideas to direct clients, agencies (media, advertising, PR, specialist) and their clients for branded content
  • To ascertain strategy information for relevant clients and to pitch individual or multiple platforms into their media plans
  • Pro-actively seek new routes for clients to market and also to seek new clients and agencies to work with
  • To be the main point of contact for each of your agencies and clients
  • Maintain communication with key contacts and ongoing clients to provide service and information
  • To liaise on a regular basis with internal staff on developments within your buying teams
  • To construct comprehensive presentations and compelling proposal documents, emails and letters and deliver a confident presentation of ideas and cases
  • To make contacts outside of the "comfort zone" and to be pro-active in approaching decision makers
  • To have an in depth knowledge and opinions of the current trends in the media industry and your own agency patch, as well as an awareness of current and future advertising campaigns
  • To get the best results without disrupting agency / client relations by understanding the entire situation and both sides of the argument

Salary is paying £27K to £30k per annum + OT 30% bonus.
