My client, a specialist in their field, are seeking branch assistant to join them on a full time basis within their busy Watford branch.

The right candidate will be required to assist in all aspects of running and maintaining an efficient branch operation as directed by the Manager. This will include, but not limited to answering and making telephone calls, responding to emails, processing paperwork and general support to the team. They will be expected to exercise some initiative and work to deadlines within established procedures on routine matters. Heavy lifting will be involved.

Up to 19k p/a dependent on experience, holidays and a great career opportunity for the right person.

Range of Duties:

  • Handling enquiries and sales of related products.

  • Responding to emails.

  • General office administration duties.

  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from the general public, work colleagues and suppliers.

  • Dealing with customers face to face.

  • Heavy lifting involved on a daily basis.

  • Check condition and quantities of all delivered goods against delivery notes.

  • To ensure all areas of the Branch are clean and tidy at all times.

  • To complete all necessary paperwork on time and in accordance with company procedures.

  • To carry out any other duties as required.

  • Friendly working conditions and full training provided.

  • Good communication and grammar skills are essential as is taking notes from dictation.
