Finance Programme Manager

About The Role
You will join the business at an exciting time, where you, as part of the senior commercial and finance team, will take part in ensuring consistency in challenging the way in which the company engages their commercial and operational leads and enhances their performance across the business.
Working as a key member of the senior commercial and finance team, you will be responsible for managing several strategic, tactical and operational programmes. Maintaining a key focus on meeting financial obligations, you will also own the delivery of other operational excellence solutions including but not limited to operational benchmarking.
The role will have a focus on, and be responsible for, managing the gap closing plans to meet broader UK financial targets across the division.
You will need to ensure clear benefit realisation plans are in place, with effective and efficient financial delivery reconciliations being undertaken periodically, whilst reporting against phased targets for pipeline and secured delivery in year.
- Strategic planning and business development
- High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills
- Negotiating, leadership and influencing skills, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Experienced in optimisation of business processes and procedures
- Experience of implementing and managing business projects
- Experience with LEAN will be an advantage
- Experienced change manager with ability to define and communicate "change vision", manage stakeholders and convince "end users" to change behaviour
- Project Management Practitioner qualification (PRINCE 2 or equivalent) advantageous
