JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Network Support Engineer role is critical to the our business. service offering. Network Support Engineers provide first line technical support services via telephone, typically to field engineers, and service managers who are installing products on site. The role requires an individual who has a strong customer centric approach, a person who is capable of clear thinking and communication under pressure, with a systematic approach to problem solving and a persuasive style.

A degree of technical competence is desirable. Those that are successful in the role are typically capable of processing relatively complex logical concepts and/or have an interest in technology, computing or electronics. Training will be provided.

The environment is fast paced, so the successful applicant will be expected to quickly become a trusted member of the team, someone who can be relied upon and will always be willing to support and assist where possible.
The role is an excellent platform from which to progress through the business and from where a rewarding and successful career in technical sales, project management or product development can begin.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Ideally 5 GSCEs or equivalent inc Maths, English and Science (or science based subjects) at C or above.
Any relevant experience is desirable, either in the security industry, engineering, electronics, telecoms or IT. A background in first line support would be advantageous
