My client, a market leading specialist wholesale and distribution business with a well-established national presence, is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their head office Finance function in Runcorn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit control for central customers
  • Query resolution - liaise with customers and members
  • Send statements, EDI Reports, reprints etc.
  • Month End Reports
  • Maintain purchase ledger
  • Code and process invoices/expenses to purchase ledger
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Input self-billing invoices
  • Raise recharge invoices to group companies
  • Manage Boardroom bookings
  • Receive visitors to the site
  • Provide ad hoc admin support to managers
  • Ad hoc duties

Key Attributes / Experience

  • Accountancy knowledge - purchase ledger, sales ledger
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise own workload
  • Able to plan and be forward thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and CAMEO and CAM GL
